Maggie Oliver
Chief Development Officer
Maggie Oliver serves as Chief Development Officer for the Alabama Port Authority, where she leads the Port’s marketing, communications, and economic development strategy in support of statewide growth. In this role, she works closely with public and private sector partners to attract new industry, shape supply-chain investment decisions, and advance long-term demand for the Port through coordinated development, branding, and outreach efforts.
Maggie began her career in Washington, D.C., working in public policy and political communications. She relocated to Mobile in 2018 to start her family with her husband, Todd, and to support their family business, Budweiser Busch Distributing. This transition brought her professional focus to Alabama, where she began her work at the Mobile Chamber of Commerce, advocating on behalf of the region’s business community. She joined the Alabama Port Authority in 2022, where she has played a central role in elevating the Port’s statewide visibility and advancing its mission of Delivering for Alabama.
She holds a Master’s degree in Public Relations and Corporate Communications from Georgetown University and a Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy Leadership from the University of Mississippi’s Trent Lott Leadership Institute. Maggie is a recipient of Mobile Bay Magazine’s 40/40 distinction and previously served as President of the National Board of Directors for Distinguished Young Women.
