Catherine Reaves
Vice President of Policy and State Affairs
Catherine Reaves is the vice president of Policy and State Affairs at the Alabama Port Authority. A graduate of Samford University’s Cumberland School of Law, she also holds a degree in public administration from Auburn University. Originally from the Montgomery area, Catherine moved to Mobile in 2016 to pursue a career in government relations, which has included notable positions with the 13th Judicial Circuit, the Mobile County Commission, and the University of South Alabama.
In 2022, she joined the Alabama Port Authority, where she plays a pivotal role in raising awareness of the Port’s statewide impact and advocating for key initiatives. Catherine is very committed to her community and volunteers with numerous nonprofit organizations. She currently serves on the board of advisors for the Mobile Chamber and is a member of the board of directors for the Dauphin Way United Methodist Church Child Development Center, Partners for Environmental Progress, and the Coosa-Alabama River Improvement Association. Catherine and her husband, Brock, are proud parents of three children.
